sumitomo serengeti any good??

I have been offered some of these tyres http://www.4wdbits.co.nz/ProductDetails ... ductID=947 has any one had any experience with them?? they will replace buckshot mudders if i get them....

I dont think they are that flasher tyre. Ask shane (blackbetty) or mitchell about them

seen some fitted to a surf made it a pretty good offroad machine :D

i went from worn 265/75/16 hankook rt01s to 33/12.5/15 sumitomos. the improvement was massive! but since then i have decided it was just cause i was going to a bigger newer tyre. still as far as buget tyres go i think they hold their own. im assuming they are for the terrano, which im assuming wont be doing many (if any) hard trips so im sure they will be fine.

i have them on my road 4x4 but i also take it off road and i dont really think they are that good, but i duno, i dont know much

ive got the 33"s on my ute and they seem to work well so far.They are still new only done 4000kms on then but every thing that i have put them thru seem to work well hope that helps thanks :wink:
Don't have 4wd.

they are going on the 413.....

I had a set of 33's on my old club truck and found them very good for there price, cleared well and bagged well, never poped the beads the onlt thing is buy the size up from what you want as the sizing is over rated my 33's were only 32", seem's .1 of an inch is enough to call them 33 :(

Aus 4wd mag (now 4wd Action - no not our 4x4 action) did a reveiw on these and a whole lot of others some time ago and the sumitomos came out near the top.

had a set on the navara throws the mud general got stuck on the chassis and found ok on the road now on the jeep but could be to floaty for that
what size were you going for?
brother ran them on longwheel base landcrusier and got good road mileage belive hes looking at puting some on his exploder when the current ones expire


a case of what you think as its your bucks you're spending :D :D

ill be doing 31x10.5x15 and im not paying a cent as im swapping my buckshots for them.......
reason i asked is if i do the swap i cant undo it as the truck the serengeti are on is being sold.....
