im running 33 x 12.5 x 15 BFG with my 1KZ manual , heaps of power even without a diff ratio change.

Gets very hot though   :!: Would defiantly recommend a temp gauge mod or aftermarket temp guage.

33x12.5 is the biggest size you can run without too much trouble. 35s require a diff change to 4.8 ratio or you run out of power .

I've got 33's on my LJ71, Sumitomos that actually measured up at 32" when new @ 30psi. They did rub occasionally at full lock/squish in the front & just hit the top of the wheel arch in the back on hard landings. With new 40mm higher springs & packing the bump stops down a touch no more probs.

Cheers

If it breaks, build it stronger.
If it doesn't break, drive it harder.

maybe one of those spacers (5mm think if my memroy serves me) would be enough to space them out. Dont know the legalities of the thin spacer (cert or not).
