Yeah I'd be quite keen Ryan, I havent been there for a while. Usual story though.... I'll have to find some time to fix my truck, I think I've got an electrical problem somewhere... it wont rev and keeps dropping cylinders under load   :? :?

Turoa has all the contact details etc for access I think

Was at Aotea Block 2 weeks ago,

You can no longer get acesss thru the gate but instead they have opened up a road down the bottom by the axel twisters so pretty much anyone can go in there now, so no need for a key anymore :)

Just talked to Henry, We are booked for this sunday morning, I will be there about 9 am.

There is some earth works being done, please don't play on or near these (these are apparently well away from the usual 4wd play areas)

I not worried about pegs but if some one wants to bring em along and peg some challenges, feel free

so, whos in?

Um.... I'm sure mark or cloggy or one of those clever computer guys posted some good directions with one of those embedded maps into an old aotea thread somewhere but I cant seem to find it

Turn off SH1 into Whitford Brown Ave then take the first right into Okowai Rd and travel right to the end (dont turn left and go up the hill). At the end you can drive over the axle twisters into the bottom of Aotea block, this takes you onto the motorcross track so watch out for motorbikes coming out of nowhere at a zillion miles per hour

Are we collecting some beer money for Henry for the access?
