Asbestos

Post by Cutbak »

One of those situations, when you're ripping stuff to bits and suddenly you get that sinking feeling that the thought that just popped into your head would have been really good to have had before you started... Anyhow, here's the thing: there's no asbestos in automotive roof-lining insulation is there?
Shoot the rooster.

How old is the vehicle ??
I don't believe that there is any asbestos used any where in vehicles made in the last 30 years.

My '89 Isuzu has a material similar to carpet underlay that is stuck to he roof above the visible lining.
There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved by brute strength and ignorance.
