TD42 Injector pump leak.

Post by tgaguy1 »

Noticed today that my nissan is suffering from injector pump leak. Has anyone researched who could repair these pumps for a reasonable price. I have prices from local shops in Tauranga ranging from $600 to $1500. Is this price normal for this repair? If anyone can offer this repair cheaper I would be very interested in talking to you. I can remove the pump and freight to you no problem.

If you know how to remove the injector pump, them you should be able to replace the seals your self to!!!!

Its a simpler job than taking the pump off, and you can replace the seals with the pump in place!!!

When they did the seals on a mates pump they replaced the shaft as well so that may be included in the price. He decided to get it done now rather than later (save on one labour cost, besides he would've got the seals changed again anyway at the same time)
