my guess a blown brake hose, have a look under the vehicle tomorrow and see if you can see wet hoses or lines, failing that refill the master cylinder and get someone to stand on the pedal while you lie under the vehicle, you should dripping fluid

Cheers

Check all the calipers for a missing brake pad :-) I've seen it happen on them before, especially the rear ones when the pads get worn down.

Have had that happen twice in my whale.
The back pads were of the budget type( in it when I got it ). Lost the first one and it popped the piston out of the caliper. Lost most of the fluid in one hit. Still had limited braking on the way home as the piston was pushing on the disk. However it had a rattle from that wheel, which stopped suddenly and i saw the pad fly out onto the road(must of been between the rim and disk).
The new pads($115   ) had nearly twice the thickness in the backing pad. So rekitted the caliper while I had it off and replaced the pads.
You think that I would of done the other side while I was at it     To fucken slack to do that, so about 10 weeks later.....................................

I've had a rear pad come out. If would appear you need to check the disc as it may be getting a bit thin.
