New Exhaust Laws and Big Exhausts

Hey just wondering who is running large exhausts, on their Safari/Patrol, how loud is it??

Just reading over the rules, Vehicles on NZ roads before June 2008 are allowed 95dbl limit??

depends what motor you have. atmo motors are noisy as, hard to keep quiet and flow extermly well. turbo diesel you can fit big bore straight through and its still fairly quiet.
IMHO a lot of the noisy vechiles are simply because the mufflers are designed to be noisy. i've heard of a few storys about shops having customers who simply want loud exhausts. they do not care about power/economy or high flow......just plain old noise.
