Nipples & other grease related queries

Hey all,

Only had my 93 hilux for a few weeks and I want to give it a good greasing after going off roading last weekend. I've bought myself a grease gun and got a diagram showing where the grease points are but I was just wondering if anyone had any tips as I haven't done this before.

Like, how do you know when to stop putting grease in? Once you attach the grease gun, do you keep filling until it starts squeezing out the sides?

Any help would be appreciated, cheers.

give each nipple a couple of pumps it will be fine, the top wheels on hanger one were not greased for 12 years no failures, hanger two every year muilty failures , go figure
