Yea... also seems very judgmental too.. especially when he prob doesn't know any of us from Welly? he assumes were heading to Whanga to rip it up or something? Hey we all want to protect the sacred places we have left for 4x4ing, some just go one step too far and it becomes bitter and twisted... 8)

Thats right. Most of us have the "Tread Lightly" motto firmly entrenched and use it in places where it needs to be implimented. Other places like Rallywoods & Costa Plenty.........well they are set aside for the "Rip, Shit & Bust" brigade. We are all 4 wheel drivers Gordon, so don't just ASSUME that out of towners are irresponsible idiot's without even knowing any of us.

Please dont turn this into a bag Gordon thread and wreck it further, were better than that, he's stated his opinion that he's entitled to and I'm sure everyone takes his concerns seriously. He's said he will say no more so back onto the constructive stuff

getting back on track, are there any area's that we need to stop off and do eg 5-10 mins digging?, its amazing what a small team of people can achieve.

How much interest is there from the welly guys to go up there when there is a working bee on?

And Gordon, our invite still stands, the Welly ORE crew are still happy to organise a weekend of 4wd'ing down here for you and your club (and the other club up there).

I think you are right Sadam. I can sort out the Welly crew.....

WE ARE LEAVING MY PLACE FRIDAY @ 1PM !! If you are not here you will have to catch up! There will be a second meeting point, the Caltex station at Brown Owl (just before Kaitoke Hill) at 1:30pm leaving there at 1:45pm SHARP! If you are not THERE you will have to catch up. We aim to be at Ryan's place by 4:00pm (fingers crossed). Gas up at Ryan's place Top bloke Ryan!! and then head to Nick's place. We can make contact with the Paraparaumu/Palmy crew once we hit the Manawatu Gorge (need contact numbers please). We will be on Channel 10 PRS and Channel 10 on CB.

There ya go, sorted....

Assisting with the Cruiser Club event, its likely that I will have the new super secret truck  by then which needs some electrical and minor tidyup work before I can start towing Nissans and blowing cv's driveshafts, diffs and god knows what else with it :D

Thanks for organising the redneck convoy Reece :D
