i failed a hill climb today, my old man was filming. Trust me its a lot steeper than it looks>

yeah mate, bit of a scare, just lucky it was slippery and the main interior colour of the safari is brown! i do have some more footage but gotta do some editing maybe tomorrow will get some up

Good day out, good to see some new/other guys out, as this was a public fund raising run. you wouldnt have seen to much as i was the tail end charlie for most of it.

You were so lucky not to have rolled! :shock:
As soon as you lost traction you should have put it in reverse and used the engine as a brake and if needed drive it down too with the foot off the brake.

yeah, tried, but stalled it :oops: once it got to the top and by the time i got it into reverse i was at the bottom :D

reverse or no reverse once that front end washed out at the top there was only one way you were coming back down :lol: :lol:
