I dont know much about firemen , you being related to Tim must be an eye opener. You must fill us in with the details at Ikamatua.
Good to see the bull shit has already started, only a week to go. :D

I won't start on the only Nissan on the trip at this time , because I might be cut off the trip list and we don't want to be too tough on our birthday boy.

ah.............................you can choose your friends but not your relations so they say.
Al is not only a relation but also a friend, hope he's more careful with the rum this time, last trip away, the bastard dropped a whole bottle of bundy, he'll be merely a relation if he does it again.
Looking forward to one hell of a trip, surfs all ready in the driveway set to go and itching, looking forward to -9 temps (or lower) and Grey river crossing over the bonnet.
What do they say about fireMEN.. :?:

Al there is no God, if there was he wouldnt make you drive a nissan for a start, however if your God is a woman that would explain it because only a nasty bitch would put you in a nissan.

Well we going to give you shit about your nissan but you all ready know that, I only ask one thing, that you leave your God woman out of the scrap, I really hate it when people bring a knife to a gun fight.

Its good that the trip is not this weekend with all the heavy rain expected on the coast.

At 6.45 this morning the grey was 1760mm at Waipuna. By Saturday it will probably be between 3-4 metres so hopefully we won't have too much rain next week. On the met. 7 day rain forcast things are looking good at the moment.

If any one is interested in the Grey river flow . Look at " Grey rver flow" on the web and look at the Waipuna level which is down river of our crossing.

Our crossing is a lot wider so you can divide the reading in half.

Cheers Richard

Actually Richard, Nissans are a good ground anchor having wheels on them, you can shift them into position.

Hey Al when did the Navy want your truck back, I heard the ships are floating away with out the correct size anchor on board.

I can see the weigh bridge at Ikas getting a thrashing on this one, would be interesting though :D
