bloody terrano

Post by drz400 »

 i bought a terrano for parts a while back and we are about to move so i had to pull finger and get the motor & box out so i can get rid of the rest to the scrap yard. Anyway has anyone ever pulled the motor &box out what a bloody prick of a job took me 5 hours to get the box out and i can tell you i was not happy it wasnt going well. So tommorows mission is to get the motor out and it looks like its gana be a prick aswell. By the look of it i have to drop the diff out any one else been here done that :|

well i pulled a motor and box out not so long ago,i seperated the 2....pulled both out up the engine bay without taking the diff out

if its gonig as scrap you may aswell cut the front end off...or atleast remove the radiator and cut the rad support out, makes it a shitload easier...

if you have, use a tractor...since body is going to scrappy it wont matter???

i did that and had very minimal damage to firewall caused by gearbox. so it is possible to be nice to it all.

good luck.
