Yes they are fine. Not rated very high but neither are the Nissan ones. Couple of trucks using them for winch challenge down here. Nice easy freespool.

I'd like one but they will only bolt up to one transfercase without getting gears made.

5 forward speeds and 1 reverse. Works on transfer case like Toyota one, rather than the input shaft like the Nissan one.

You'll also note that they have a bigger worm drive than the cruiser ones which means they should be stronger..currently running one on my cruiser(swapped the drive shaft slip join to match which is way smoother then the cruiser one and I've had no problem so far apart from shearing the pin..)Also they are smaller across from front to back then the cruiser one, they take up less space making for better approach angle..cheers

Thread Jack , but I have a complete pto winch and all the bits to make it work for a Pajero for sale . The take off for the t/case , selector lever , shafts and ofcourse the winch itself .
It was going to be mounted on a suzuki but plans have changed .

Sing out if anyone else is looking for one before I put it on trade me .

Unfortanelty not without getting into some serious gear work by either swapping to an early model transfercase or getting an idler made and PTO drive modified. To be honest - either way you could have a well set up Warn for the same cost.

I would someday like to set one up on a Gen 2 however.

Bugger. Will have to stay with the electric then.

I also have the PTO output to xfer + levers and 1 shaft..surplus to requirements..open to offers..This would Ideally suit a person who has either broken or only has some of the bits needed..chur
