wanted 33' motorway mongrels .
I was given a brand new 33-12.5-15 motorway mongrel tyre in the weekend.

I am looking to make a full set can anyone please heap me out ! cheers

I think the final outcome was along the lines of not in NZ, but possibly available ex OZ

sweet, that should make poacher-hilux happy if he can get his size

not quite right several firms are stockists with the main importer being a firm in New Plymouth ( cant remember their name) Motorway tires Aust relocated their office but didn't close. Several in Rotorua area run Mongrels, and for mud are ideal, and when worn out some will be replacing them with the same tires. Motorway also sell burn-out tires that emit different colour smoke ..... cool.

they arent too bad in mud, i run 33x12.5 on my non turbo safari, but the thing you have to look at is the tread isnt any wider than a 10.5 simex or silverstone as there are no real side lugs.

i'm not looking to get any more, they are a pig of a thing to balance being retreads, only plus side is they bag out quite nicely and the wearing isnt too bad.

try pete at Otago tyres,did have 2 sets ,only in 16s i think,plus about 2 weeks ago a guy on t/me had some forsale didnt sell wanted about $800.00 for them
