60s surf 2ltr petrol on l.p.g, good or no good??

Am looking into purchaseing a 60 series surf, that has l.p.g setup, its the 2ltr petrol, anybody had any experiance with these? how do they go on l.p.g, its not something ive previously considered but with they way fuel prices are going im thinking it might be worth a look???
much loss of performance or reliability??

i have 2.2 4y on lpg in a 1991, it has its days. i run two lpg tanks and no petrol, so its tuned to lpg only, no problems there. it doesnt like running when its cold ,a manual throtle should fix that. if you have good lpg system it should be sweet,good as in all the bits are compatable(not like mine) other than that it is good move ($1.31 beter than $2.18) o yea and it smells haha

yea it just had fresh cert/wof and the owner said it rund real mint, the $1.30 definately more appealing
