Runva winch wiring

Post by mike.e »

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a runva winch, model is GEW10000 but I think the wiring will be the same for most models. I managed to lose mine since the winch sat on the workshop floor for 3 months before i got around to mounting it.

What do you need, wiring colours from winch or to the relay?

I need the wiring from the solenoid pack to the winch motor, and what each terminal is on the winch. I'm assuming the bottom terminal is ground as on the previous diagram, but my wire colors are red, blue, yellow, and a long red one which i think goes to the positive battery terminal.

Looking at top with the winch sitting as it would be attached to a vehicle, red on top of yellow and blue towards the outside. Make sense?
Black goes to ground and the long red one to the battery positive.

A photo would be nice if its not too much hassle, otherwise I think i understood how to wire it up based on the way you described it before

I'm going to pull mine apart soon to seal the joins up properly, as I have heard that they leak water in.
I will also look at rotating the clutch 90 deg too as I want to put it on a new bumper sometime.
