Alloy wheel weight

Post by Rotazuk »

Hi
I am thinking of getting some 15x8 alloy wheels and was wondering if anyone knew a weight for an average one of these . Just the rim without a tyre .

Cheers
Chris

Mitch weigh one of your trepadors that is on an alloy and weigh one of your other trepadors that is on a steel rim and use some maths (may be hard for you) and you will know exactly how much weight you are saving.

So if there wasnt a tyre on it you would be sure of the weight? Just use bathroom scales, come get mine if you dont have any.

You can use your kitchen scales if you think hard enough about it...
all depends on how much you want to know the answer
Sold my 1985, BJ74 MWB Landcruiser, rear locker, 33" MTs, snorkel, PTO winch, solid bars all round, spotties, AM CB etc.
Now just a 1994, 1kz Surf, pretty standard.

its too much effort to get daddy to hook the rexton to the trailer and tow it round to jareds to neatly put the scales in the middle of the trailer and tie it on and then get daddy to tow the trailer home, going past the gas station to get daddy to put gas in the wagon

and you're forgetting that we are dealing with the driving god here

so we must all bow down to him

what did I miss, someone help me out :? :? :? :? :?
