Not as bad as Outer Limits though. They all be biarches there if you make one little error. They will flame your ass.

Problem is there is a whole heap of good info there too.

Heaven forbid if they ever show up to an event in person.
These poor soul's were normal and respectable people before their first trip out with us..................

Bubba used to have a clue or two

Badnuz could keep his mouth shut in the rain

My comments were because I thought it was another one of the guys with 2 accounts taking the piss, as I've been caught out giving advice on something like this in the past.

Apologies for jumping the gun Duane

Yes people can go overboard and say/do stupid things, but there were people on here with dual accounts asking questions like this to take the piss.
I remember a member on here causing a lot of crap after a video was posted on youtube showing trees being cut down and boulders being sent down banks, back when this USED to be a good site

Most people on here have been guilty of making d!cks of themselves, just others do a much better job at it

Ya hear it all the time on here, about how good the forum used to be and I have to read them with amusement

I haven't been a member for a long time, only since May 07, the reason I joined was to find out info in regard to my hilux and get advice on how to develop it. that was it, I had already joined a 4x4 club and had no intentions of commiting to ORE.

The reason I stayed is because of the personalities, I know some of them are over the top and a couple of them, well, I can't say I like, but they all help to make this forum a social community and is what keeps most of us following the forum on a daily basis. also with the bonus of still having techincal threads that are very helpful to beginners all the way thru to experienced, cause weather ya care to admit it or not, ya never know it all aye

Now, the moderators do a great job a keeping the BS to a acceptable level but ya never gonna please everyone all the time, but the fact is, things develop and change and the members who stay are the ones that form it and I for one plan to be one of them

and when someone like Scott pops his angry head up and has a cry and ducks down again, well, as Shania Twain says, "Don't impress me much"

there, I have vented, Have a nice day

Looks right and in proportion , you can get this as a factory option in Iceland. I think they should all come from factory like this.

if you dropped the third pic, and photoshopped some numberplates, and reversed the pics so the steering wheel is on the right side, then just maaaaybe you could claim it was dunedin... the background could certainly be claimed to be otago...

true, forgot about the arb....
dunno about the ifs being a shame tho, pretty sure if i had just forked out 60k for a hilux like that then there no chance that it would ever see terrain that would show up the dis-advantages of the ifs over a solid axle...

sooooooooo, after checking this out.....................

http://72.34.32.141/~snakerac/product_i ... 4bcd29852b

I've decided that unless theres some pics soon, then this guy is full of shite.

Its hard to work out as hes been a member since way before me, but has only 5 posts to his name.

the only place I've heard of that can lift them high enough for 36s is here............

http://www.arctictrucks.com

although they look like they only do a hilux for 35" tyres

where they build these.................

38" tyres

and after some research I found all those pics in the prvious post hidden on the arctic site too

they are cool

that prado would look awesome cruising the highways of NZ

They are 32's on Prado Rims.. they only just fit a standard '05 Hilux.. yes he has 4" lift.. apparently. I have to get 2" lift fitted so I dont tear wheel arches with the chains on
Dont follow me. i'll get stuck and need a tow..
