Headed upstream from state highway 1 bridge with 4 wagons. The river had been flowing high the previous week but was dropping. 1st water encountered 1.5km upstream from shw1 bridge. Several large holes have been chewed out by the water, most were bonnet depth on the cruiser but a few would be roof rack depth with a soft pea gravel bottom. There was a lot of mud about vicinty the golf course. The quick sand we encountered earlier in the week had settled down but there was still a few soft patches closer to the willows. I think everyone got stuck at one time or another but had no dramas with recovery. Will be worth a look at some of the deeper holes in the next fortnight when the water drops and exposes more mud.

Nothings a problem if you don't give a f#ck.
