Am Pradozer GREEN with ENVY.
Wish I could be on your trip Al. Happy birthday you young bastard!
I did however get to see an amazing 100 metre high sculpture, at the Goodwood Sprint here in the UK with five brand new LRs on it! 2 Range Rovers, 2 Discos and a Defender all either over-vertical or nearly upside down. The Defender was right at the top.
Not possible of course for Nissan's but I reckon Toyota's could have driven it

Re: Al's annual birthday winter trip: Ikamatua
Had a great weekend despite the safari letting me down with its charging and no I ain't gonna buy a bloddy toymota. Toll for the safari: x1 dead alternator, x2 dead batteries, x1 broken snorkel, x1 severly bent roof rack, x1 broken bull bar, x4 tyres with lots of shit in the beads, x1 broken MAXTRAX, x1 bent steering tierod and of course more dented panels. All running gear and important shit intake. I am glad I put the cargo barrier in as when we hit the tree and broke the bullbar, it stopped alot of shit hitting us in the head. Also worked out on this trip that my rear factory locker is more of a hinderance then anything. When I stopped using it, the obstacles became a little easier especially the steep slippery uphills, I think because I could then get the rear wheels spinning to clear the mud. Thanks to all the team that helped me through with dead batteries. I would like to especially thank Jas (H2O) for his exceptional driving skill in reverse down a very slippery bank to get me jumped started and also his quick thinking in pulling two dead vehicles out of the upper grey in darkness: warm fussiey for you cobber. For those that didn't come and are hanging out for the pics, Mike is gong to put it all up as he is able to, lots of vids taken. Another successful hard yakka ORE trip under our belts.

Re: Al's annual birthday winter trip: Ikamatua
The Mrs saw my truck this morning... her only comment was, " I don't like the stickers, the slogan is too long". No comments on the dents, missing wing mirror etc...
