35" mudzillas, yes or no?

Yo! can buy a set of these relatively cheaply, i have a ln65 double cab, 2" lift in susp 2" lift in the body, first of all will they fit ? secondly, has anyone run these on a hilux and been concerned with road wear? i wont be running them much on the road but sometimes i really just cant be arsed swapping rims

what size are you running at the mo? with 2 inch lift and 2 inch body usually 33's are about the max (the rub a little bit but you just have to cut off or fold over the seams) most running 35's have moved there diff forward to get the clearance.

They will rub badly with your current setup, I fitted a set of them (35's)to my surf a few months ago, having been now in most terrain types (Sth Island east and west coast) for the price I paid they were well worth the money and have pleasently surprised me as I thought they would be crap.

I have rear springs in the front of mine, which moved the front axle forward, has a widened track, and also have fairly extensively moddified steering, which gives plenty of room for them to move.
Richard has a good mod in his "bulletproofs hilux specs" thread to improve the clearance arond the front guards if you don't want to move the front end.
