TERRANO/MISTRAL RUNNING GEAR

Post by Weemsy »

how much alike are the mistral and terrano? apart from the shape of the body etc, is the chassis/engine/box and axles the same?
will things like manual hubs, lsd's, towbars, bullbars etc from a terrano fit a mistral?
im thinking of keeping my mistral and giving it a suspension/body lift and some muddy 31's or 32's and using it as my all-rounder and selling my suzook. the mistral is excellent condition and mechanically sound and a diesel. i know ruc's are a pain in the arse but we get 650km's from a $120 tankful, and its great to drive. not the fastest thing out there but it does me fine.
anyone else use their mistral for bush crashing etc? id like some pics! :D
cheers

I had one and there's not a great deal of difference apart from the body. From memory the chassis is a R22 as opposed to the terrano R20 but most parts are the same, including the motor

I still have one parked up, need to do somethng with it
