Spammers or just strange names?

Just been noticing weird names starting to appear as joining the list. What precautions are being taken to block out potential spammers? Noticed a bit of spamming on another 4x4 list recently by similar nonsense names... apologies to any genuine weird name in this cut and paste list...

Cheers for the heads up guys. Seems i forgot to put the anti spammer registration device on the front of the main site, well I'm assuming thats what it is. I think I will remove every user with a post count of 0 that registered after integration the new site. Harsh but the only way to get rid of the useless accounts.

I think they're back! The drug spam this morning and now there is this flutLulgeve name. Is the spam guard up after all the site changes or is this someone genuine?

yeah it is there but im wondering if it is as effective as the main site one. might have to disable the way the registrations are happening.

will investigate further.

turns out there were about 20+ spam accounts waiting to click on their activation emails. now deleted! sorry if you were one of those but fark i hate spam bots. Deleted about 6 spam accounts. joined since yesterday.

I'll post up a registration button soon for those that want to register.

Yeah, Sam, if the buggers aint gonna be active after a year or two, delete 'em.
