.........................................Spent 2 months in the shed.....................................................
And arrived here:

Two months in the shed saw me cutting 90% of the floors out, patching 5 or 6 holes in the bodywork, rewireing, new dash, tidying up suspension and drive train etc etc etc. (so much stuff done so quickly its a blurr)
The best part of the truck is the REALLY REALLY ugly suspension. Its coiled, with a 4 link front and a three link rear. The radius arms are the ugly bits, where they attach to the chassis instead of the usual bush or rose joint, there are huge truck steering ball joints. The idea is that they are sealed from dirt unlike a rose joint, greasable and prevent any binding that would usually occur in a bush. Its fawken SOLID and works quite well despite how rude it looks:

Its running a fresh 305 Chev dedicated LPG, Turbo 400 trans, Dana 18 transfer, MQ/MK Patrol Diffs, Chev power steering box and pump coupled to the standard patrol steeing rods/links, 35 X 11.5" 15 Silverston MT-117 Extreme tyres, a very problematic Runva 10,000lb low mount winch, 3" Silvester 5 point harnesses, M&H Vinyl fixed back comp seats and other stuff.
Still have the LPG system to overhaul, the battery to remount and heavy duty cableing to run to the winch and few other ods and ends and it'l be all on
