Isuzu mu rear axels

are the mu rear axels the same size between the 1993 2.8 ubs55 non lsd model and 1994 3.1 u69 lsd model?

just asking cause i scored an lsd from a later model 1994 mu and wanted to fit it into my 1993 mu.

I had a very modified MU for about 7 years,it had about a 6"lift with all the gear including ARB air lockers [ the first in the country at he time,i had to get front ones modified at the time ] great off the road
Sorry shouldn't high jack your thread,not to sure about the axles but i do know that there is about 3 different ratio's,the 3.1 brakes are all different..good luck on your project ........here's my e mail address if you are interested i can down load phot's,not to sure how to do t here ...lol.. hshrigley@kol.co.nz

yeah i soon found out the brakes are all differant.just trying to find out about the axels before i pull it apart to change diff heads then find out i have to change axels.got the front diff also.the 3.1 had a 4.3 raito diff.

From what I know the only difference is the brakes (which are larger) and the ratio, I know a few people that have put early model lsd's in to the 3.1

choice full steam ahead with the lsd into the rear of my mu. 8) there will be nothing stopping me soon...ha ha ha famous last words...... :lol:
