What Doddzee said
Took mine off a cpl months ago and could'nt believe how well she handles on the road
Dont get me wrong its not unnoticeable but it is has a lot better manners than i expected.Would put it on to do a long road trip thru hills though.

Re: rear sway bar
Ive taken my terrano to the same testing station for its last 3 warrents, first time no swaybar it passed no questions, 6 months latter i swear the same guy failed it. so chuckd it in, back 2 the shop n got a new warrent 20 mins later then took it st8 back out. third time my truck failed on a long list of stuff but nothing to do with the sway bar, it took me over a month to fix it all so when i took it back they had to do a full recheak n this time it failed on the sway bar so again 10 min job it back it recheak then back out.
Ive talkd 2 several people in the trade n they split on whether you need it or not - so im lost

Re: rear sway bar
Apparently if you go for cert now without a swaybar you will fail. Mine was certed before all this. Mine never came with a sway bar. I would take your trucks to a dedicated 4wd shop, you might find them a little more understanding on the no swaybar issue.

I think you are right Al,the guy i deal with is right into to his 4x4ing and a bit of a hard case but he is not slack on his WOF's i must add, anything to do with safety issue's he is very tuff on,as he said the landtransport [ or who ever ] send people round a few times a year to check they are doing things properly [ like a secret shopper..]
Re: rear sway bar
with the swaybar on and the mtr's, passed a wof no probs so back to the 33' s
