hose goes (nice beam axle surf)

Post by hosehustler »

Most of you would have seen it up for sale on Trademe a few months ago, I had a purchaser lined up (friend of friend) has been unable to come up with the funds.
It's still up for sale, would be an ideal rig for somewhere here, or if you know someone wanting a well set up truck without having to do all the work themselves.
It really needs a new home, someone motivated to get into the rock scene, or club weapon, or stick a set of 33's on and would make a great winch truck for the new clubman class, would really benefit with the addition of an exo, but to be honest, I've lost interest and young family are into everything except 4x4, it has done 2 offroad trips since December when I originally listed it and one of those was when It had a laydown on it's side as it had been a long day and it was tired  (it's had a new body since then)
It's very economical for an offroad vehicle, parts are cheap and does extremely well with fuel consumption. e.g got form Hokitika to Brooklands (nth of CHCH) and used 40litres.
Has done one trip to the coast (went superb) since the Trademe listing and as expected on the coast it got a couple of new very minor body bruises.
A couple of notes.
1, it was certified with 15x8 rims (has 15x10's now).
2, will need the flares extended before next warrant.

Here's a link to when it was on trademe......
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=163064499

I will be listing it again on trademe in a week or 2.....
If you are genuinely interested or know someone that is, phone 0272074454

When I put it back on trademe I will be doing a listing rather than an auction as I removed last time due to a time waster (he was genuine at the time), don't want that hassle again. I'm looking at removing winch and bar and listing it for $11,000.
If someone from here is interested before I trademe, it's $11,000 firm as it sits..

Hi Tim , I know this topic is about selling your vehicle and I wish you all the best with the sale and whatever pursuits you follow with your family. I am posting here to thank you for all the effort and time you have unselfishly put into ORE Ass, ORE Forums and helping us all out with training , Trips and vehicle modification. It has been a pleasure to have been a part of you and your family's 4WD trips and I hope that with the sale of your vehicle we haven't seen the last of you.

MEMORIES LAST LONGER THAN DREAMS,

FITZY.

oh no!

Get a decent amount of coin for it?

What part of the country should we spy it now?
Sold my 1985, BJ74 MWB Landcruiser, rear locker, 33" MTs, snorkel, PTO winch, solid bars all round, spotties, AM CB etc.
Now just a 1994, 1kz Surf, pretty standard.
