Vitara Air Intake

Hi all.

Looking for some advice on whether fitting a high flow air filter to a Vitara is worthwhile? 1600cc 16v engine, free flow exhaust into 2"pipe to the tail pipe, safari snorkel. Was talking to a guy a few weeks ago who said that these engines respond quite well to a K&N filter or similar, but looking for other opinions/experiences. Also, currently running std size wheels.

I have a 1600 16v escudo running a safari snorkel free flows 2in exhast with a uni filter on 31s goes great.When I first fitted the uni fitler I noticed the driffence in take off speed compared to a standard cardbroad filter.The good thing about the uni filter is that ya can wash it out and reoil it and the uni filter only costs about $80. ps they are easy to clean out and reoil.
