ahh, so it will drive as well as it looks then.
Get some vids. Where did you get it? Looking at selling my nitro racing truggy, might have to get something similar for a laugh, as the plane and chopper are getting expensive to repair

i bought it off a model shop on trademe about christmas 2007, it came from christchurch, cant remember the name sorry, yeah it does drive well, i setup the 4 wheel steering and you can look the diffs with a grub screw and go do some awesome crawling!! 3 speed gear box, only thing they really need some bigger wheels but you can buy those as extras.

I have a .28 nitro buggy/car as well Dave. It doubles as both. All I do is adjust suspension, change bodies and wheels. It'll do around 70k with the big wheels on. Not that that's fast. Till you hit something stationary.
I haven't flown the Heli for a while. You're right. It's costly to repair.

For a laugh I put a cam on top of the nitro car. But with the small wheels on it'll only do around 55k. :D

I've almost had it run over by a logging truck. That would of looked cool getting squashed.

No one can have to many toys! I don't mind sharing but I hate posting. :D

Your Nitro buggy Pete, what is it?

I have been after something for a while and doing a bit of research for the last few months. A TAMIYA TNX 5.2R sounds like it might be the go for something fast and durable.

Unless someone has any other suggestions?

What is the truck you built Gary?

It is electric, its a Tamiya model, Hi-Lift, bassically, they either come with a Ford F350 Cab or Hilux Cab. they are good for rockcrawling and the that sort of low speed stuff, although for an electric they are surprisingly fast when at full throttle in 3rd gear.

It's not a piss ant 1/10 scale. It's a real decent size RC car. It's 1/8 scale mate. Don't play with the small stuff. That's for kids.

It's called a Sacker Pro. It can take the crashes and is easy and cheap to rebuild. Trust me on that. I've rebuilt mine plenty of times. Blown x3 .25 nitro engines in the time I've had em. But that was partly due to my inexperience in tuning them and using the wrong fuel. The current nitro engine in my buggy is a SH.28 big and strong. :D

The Sacker Pro I first brought was called a Rockwilder. It came with the big wheels. But after getting bored with that i lowered the ride and put some small wheels and a different body on it and it doubled as a circuit car. It was alot of fun but way way slower than the other 1/8 circuit cars.

Here's some pix.

This is it with the larger wheels.

Then this the same car with different body and wheels.

Lots and lots of fun. Big learning curve though.

The last picture shown in my last post was the setup with the offroad exhaust. The on road exhaust is a different system.

Check this nitro engine out.
A supercharged Nitro motor!

2 channel is all you need for a basic setup. Steering and throttle. Throttle and brake use the same servo.
