Changed my 33x12.5 Hankook MT's for BFG 33x10.5 At's - man does the 70 series cruiser look dorky now

Image

Hopefully it will stop the slideing around wet roads and I can use the Extreme Trekkers for mud  :D

So, I have 1 new and 4 50% used Hankook 33x12.5 MT's for sale - what are they worth? $400 :?:

Just pulled out the Gemmer power steering box that had shat itself (http://www.offroadexpress.co.nz/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=12787) and replaced it with the old manual 'armstrong' box. Feck!, I'd forgotten what it was like to drive it like that...   Got to go through all the swap-over hassle again next weekend when a second hand power steer box should be ready to insert :D

well i wired up my electric fan up to my ignition because i kept fogetting to turn the fan on. rewired my battery leads for my winch as it wasnt earthing very well. swapped carbys over as it was running really rough and lumpy revs didnt wana stay still. have a few pics of it but they arnt very good, i think its just because its very dirty so il clean it out at some point.
Image

oh and i also plated up some zuke cut down doors and painted them. think thats all i did anyways.

got the donor car back to yoricks yesterday and started removing the engine and transmission finished removing it today and also removed the doors and other removable panels going to list them on trademe because they are all in quite good nick the doors especially

so the engine is now sitting on the floor of yoricks shed ready for the transmission to be swapped and can start on the swap next weekend my biggest issue will be making new engine mounts and sorting out the ignition and fuel pump
my 4wd is not a truck

Its alive! with a big push on sunday, the engine is finally back in and running. Now for a nice big long drive.. oh what a hardship
Big thanks to my mate james in mot, who sacrificed many saturdays (and your lounge floor) to go down to work to help us get it back on the road, and of course SMURF who helped get all of those small,(and of course the gearbox etc etc) but oh so fiddly and time consuming jobs done on sunday.:D
