Hi people,Just to let you know as there has been a bit of discussion on entry fees etc We will be running another club class comp at this stage it will be around the 2nd week in March ,It will be run at the same time same place as the Normal (challenge class?) Although it will be a stand alone comp we will be sharing some of the tracks with the big boys and in turn they will be following you guys after youv"e messed up the tracks ,Its to be held on one site (extreme Park) Competition will start at Miday on Saturday with afternoon stages then night stages that night and stages on Sunday finishing around 1-2pm There will be camping on site with toilets and showers provided prize giving and BBQ with the big boys at the end of competition those people out of town will be welcome to set up camp on the Friday and watch some of the big boys stages .The cost at this stage will be $150 for the Club Class
PS if anyone is keen to marshall anytime over the weekend (either classes) please PM me and i will pass your name on to the chief marshall
NOTE" Both classes are at one site for the whole weekend by helping marshall one day is the only way to see the comp as there is NO public spectating ...Steve

At least there is no way I can miss the comp now as if my truck is broken we can race John's Disco in the club class. I don't know how fast I'd be as a coey though!!!!!!!

Ooh this sounds promising for me. I only have to get some insurance and get my coey to become NZ4WDA member.
Will competitors require two winch cable dampeners or one?

The cheapest way to become affiliated is to join 4x4 Challenges. Joining 4x4 Ch also gets you a log book which will make scrutineering much easier. 4x4 Ch membership is $6 per year with a $20 joining fee (first year only) and affiliation is $28 (I think).
Auckland 4x4 Club have organised a good 3rd party insurance that is $50 per year.

Hi It would pay to have two dampners ,you may need to do a double line pull,Call in and see Warren at 4wdbits hes just down the road from you and twist his arm for a good deal on one.
Forgot to mention that although the club class doesnt start till Sat around mid day if you want to you are able to set up camp on the Friday and watch the afternoon and night stages for the challenge class..Steve
