Bwahaha, only because i didn't have third gear and was on the limiter in 2nd from about 20m out of the start box :P

Fastest on the day still win's though :D :D :D

I realise thie threads about 4cycl, but i have always been a fan of the commy 3.8 V6, its simplistic, reliable, compact, reasonably lightweight in comparrison and produces good torque and power. There cheap to :D

The 4age is a good motor, have you looked into the factory super charged one's???? There are plenty of them around in NZ, Levin's ect ran them.

if you are willing to spend a little you can find these motors with a supercharger fitted
my 4wd is not a truck

old mercedes never die but sometimes they do need some love

older cars are good, mercedes are better, older mercedes are the best

are you manual or auto?, i have tryied both turbos and super chargers on a 4age years ago, my bro is a turbo engineer which helps, i would not bother with a super charger as i know from different set ups you can get better results from a turbo, people say you need power down low but one set up we did boosted from 1500rpm which was 700 rpm off idle and made 302 bhp at 8000rpm and this is from a std 4agze 1600cc motor with a home made turbo set up, i am building a c class buggy at the moment and am using a sr 20 which will get turboed later with std compression and low boost, my 2 cents any way
