That's what my brother said. Hey Nib. You've seen my 61 VW I drive round in. All 36 horse power of it and I love it. :D
This FJ40 is a factory soft top. It's a rare model and been restored. It's a mint 40! I love it!!! You buy it Nib. You can afford it. You wouldn't have to wait the years you've been waiting to drive you BJ mate! It's cheap at just 14k. Come on. Lets go halves in it. :D :D :D :D

Nah if Nib goes halves in that it will put his current 40 back by 10 years

Funny thing is after every Shefield or other event the 40 has a burst of work go on, then it slows down a bit again you never know between shefield this year and the run up to Shefield next it may be done  (Maybe we need more events)

Good things take time right Nib, or you have the money to pay for the time. I would say there was a good 6 or more man hours at least in the prep and paint of the deck liner, then you have the reassembly and wow that is the whole weekend not including the time to wait for it to set, you only get 52 weekends a year  and add the Mrs, trips and Alcohol weekends it is little wonder low budget projects take time.
Legal disclaimer: Any information I may have provided is worth exactly what you paid me for it.

No it wouldn't. He can afford it. What he can't afford is time. He's to busy working. Hence the reason he hasn't finished his truck.

What's with that?
2000k in so many years.
I don't think it would handle being used as an everyday runner then.

I still think it's an amazing 40.
It's the best looking soft top 40 I've seen, that's for sure.
