I recently got talking to a person in CHCH who is keen on some back country videoing (professional type stuff of NZ nature scenes and wildlife). I've got a few places in mind so might get them out to view photos of areas I've been and looking at potentially going out with them to some of these spots (love videography myself).
Keen on any recommendations, so spit out your most scenic spots or most likely to see wildlife, fish, birds, rustic scenes, photogenic huts, awesome rivers, land formations, mountains, etc. I'm mainly interested in South Island stuff (Canty and wider afield) but throw in any ideas and even a few photos as I'm sure it will be of interest to many others too.
Couple of preloaded photos of some good areas without taking the time to rummage:
Pinnacles
Mt Hutt
