Ya reakon thats gona handle reverse gear "wrap" those tension thing'ys 8) (to many woody's to remember what they're called) don't handle compression very well, especially with being wound right out :?

would be keen to see how it is after the drags

I'd love too, I'd love to have a toy going to have a go with :( but work keeps rearing its ugly head :? joys of being a boss I spose

You'll have to take some pics of the fun for us "fun challanged" types

As for the axle wrap bar I was planing on some for my lux I was looking at one that anchors top and bottom of the diff and and the bar will be anchored to the transfer case X member and I'm gona try and keep it close to the drive shaft :? hopefully provide some support when dealing with toi toi bush's.... bloody nasty things them :(

Now just crank that turnbuckle out until your driveline is straight and you shouldn't trash any more UJs

Looking good... keep it up

 yea thats what i was thinking, unfortunatly the steering geometry goes all to shit then :? ... new front drive shaft is in the pipeline when i have time...like after the drags.only have time to do the rear at this stage with a surf yolk, but thats the one with major PMS...thats "post maratoto stress"

got a shaft off a surf(rear)to shorten and mate to the flanges for the front, seems the surf yolks have way more driven angle than the cruiser or hilux ones  so im picking that if i get that done then i may not go thru quite so many UJ's :D ...heres hopeing anyway

will keep you posted

did i mention i have a V6pac and trans sitting in my garage to drop into something now ?......all i need now is a ute

castor wedge plates ,using them will take away that constant tension that the torque bar provides..........

just my thoughts........

The V6 should be a nice donor for DB's new toy... or are you attached to it? :P

Cut and turn the knuckles then make new perches... get it close then use wedges to fine tune it...

I rotated my rear by making new top plates then sticking a 10x10mm piece under one edge to lift it then just filled with weld all round... rotated it by quite a bit... the front would be similar.

I can get those wedges - I think they are about $40/pr... I'll check up on it for ya.
