No good ringing wanganui, tyremax is no longer, they are based out of invercargill with Chch as the main distribution warehouse, fedimas aren't cheap about the same price as a new tyre but the rubber is hard, they are a full remould and they last. Can get a price for buckshot and bighorn at same time as they import them as well.

Look on trademe for pitbull tyres......or do a search for them in the USA on google

We had a set of the Fedimas (Yokohama Geolandar mud pattern copy) put on a Jimny for offroad use with the local power company, and the guy that drives it loves them. I did notice that they were extremely noisy when new, not that that worries me, and we got them through Beaurepaires.

Would this be legal for a trials vehicle? Cant find anything that says you cant but thought I would ask. It would double as the side bars with runners taken back to the chassis and maybe a tube bar 'spacer' to keep stuff off the doors/sides.

cheers for all the advise guys. :D much appreciated.

got meself a set of gt radial adventuro's. 31". once the guards are trimmed and bodylift fitted they should fit with ease, and still give me plenty of articulation.

on a swb with same lift as mine, they fit good as gold with no trimming or body lift, just that seam needs bashing, mate has them on his and they work really well , he is still using the std 5.5 inch rims, ill get some pics this weekend.
