how many kms do you get 2 a tank in your cruiser

hi guy just wanted to find out how many kms i should be geting to a tank in my 1989 13bt swb cruiser
im only geting around 550 to 600kms and i have been told i should get more than that.

I'm getting very roughly 10-12kpl which includes a portion of offroad (low ratio) driving

I get about 600kms in the LJ71 and thats with a Lexus v8

depends on tires etc i get way more on my road 31's than my 35'simex.... but usually 550km on average. injectors and injector pump could need attention, also exhaust/boost/lead boot always factor in! just drive it and enjoy it!

when i had my bj73 13bt i could get between 6-700 kms normally no problems and that was a lot of it around town driving .best thing i did to it was big bore exhaust HUGE difference both power and economy

yes i run 31s the guy that owned it be for i did ran 32s and got more than im getin more than wot i am now. i hav a mate that gets 750kms to 115 bucks worth of fuel in his mwb cruiser and he runs 32s

mine on 35s at the mo but ive got 37s for it but ive got my pump craked way up and my boost craked aswell makes it real hungry lol

I can just push 500k on a 3/4 fill if I drive really carefully on my 90 with the 1kzte (has an 80L Tank)...and thats $110 as at tonight, old LJ 2LTE prado would get 400k to a 70L tank on 33's round town, not sure about the Lexus powered one yet.

I have a 3.0d 90 series playdoh and can get anything from 620-700 kms out of a full 80 litre tank. Best ever was 730kms.
Truck is bog std and I didn't think that was too bad for a full time 4wd rig.

MANUAL vx 80 SERIES 24valve, pump screwed up, turbo screwed up 285/75/16 MTR tyres, average so far of 650km to 73ltr of gas

Thats strange, I thought mine was a bit thirsty when I bought it, but one of my mates has one which is just as bad, so figured it was just the norm.
Still not as bad as my brother in laws surf though, hes lucky if he sees 400 ks out of a tank.

ive got my pump cranked and run 10psi with 36 swampers and it uses about 1/4 tank to a days 4wdn.its real good on gas but i dont give it a hard time

95 Surf 1KZ-TE manual , 500-550km / 60ltr Tank, on 31's
400-450km on 33's.
2500rpm seems to be the best balance between power and economy

true ! better add that my other cruiser gets about 300ish ?km to a tank on the open road,4spd,36" centipedes,350cui chev 4bbl 600 cfm carb and semi rise manifold... but who cares what it uses cos it sounds so god damn cool

Some of you guys are getting pretty decent k's per Litre (especially the dude with the 1UZ!?) but Im just wondering, wouldn't tyre diameter and aftermarket diff ratios put the odometer reading out by miles?

Nope dont worry bout dents in the cruiser, its the school bus and tow vehicle - not all 4wds on the forum are used in anger - and like a yota could keep up with the zuk off road Got a manual prado now (93 with the 1kzte) getting 600ish per 70 litres

Legally the speedo is supposed to be accurate, which would mean the odo is accurate too. So *if* the vehicle is certed correctly then the odo will be accurate.
