I am trying to see if I can get hold of a car transporter that can take the 'thirsty trucks" up there, I will know soon and let every one know. Looking at paying for the diesel, road user charges and maybe a nights accommodation... thoughts? Don't know if will pay off yet but I am still trying for you all....

If this doesn't happen, maybe look at getting trailers and sharing the diesel costs if people are willing to tow one....

For all those that are planning on hitting my place on the Saturday, there is plenty of parking for vehicles/trailers. There is a large flat lawn immediately outside the back kitchen door for camping/tents. There is limited bed space inside, so bring air mattresses/sleeping bags etc for sleeping on the floor.

We are planning on a BBQ for Saturday night/breakfast Sunday morning, so bring whatever tucker you's want to cook up, and your booze. There is plenty of coffee/tea etc so no prob's there.

Will be prepared to help out anyone (Welly guys only) GENUINELY short financially for the Sunday, with either petrol (limited supply) or diesel.

Will be looking at arriving Costa Plenty approx 8.30 AM Sunday.

Last fuel points are either Pahiatua or Woodville, and last shops are the same. Don't forget some lunch for the Sunday.

Lets all have another top day up at Costa Plenty. :D

Well as far as I know Jerry, all these ones below are coming up on Saturday for a BBQ & pissup and staying the night, and Mike told me at the NZQA course, that he was coming up as well, but no mention on here as to whether he is coming up on Sat or early Sunday...................Mike????

Taz01 has been to my place before, so he would be the one to organise a convoy with on the Sat as he knows the way. And Reese has also been to my place, but don't know if they will be coming through to here early Sunday morning, or meeting at Costa Plenty. And don't forget your $20.00 per vehicle, as 2 didn't pay last time and I forked out to Sue, and to date have only recovered the money off 1 person.
