hi guys, need some ideas on supercharger mounts as im supercharging my v6 :D

I dont know anything about mounting one to a V6 but just a couple of comments from my own experience and others I know and it may be completely irrelevant for what you are doing.

If it is a SC14 like I have and you are not running it full time but turning on and off with the clutch .The mounts need to be heavy rather than light otherwise they break . Mine broke a 10mm plate and I had to put another brace to the other side of the motor

The other thing too , to get a reasonable boost it will need overdriving by a quite big ratio. My pulley on the crankshaft is 215mm and I'm still using the pulley that came with the supercharger. At 3000rpm I am getting nearly 10lbs with a 3 litre motor so you would need a bigger pulley again.

cheers, but mine is only is only a standard 2l which i am going to lower the compression so will probably only run 5psi because i want to take it easy, and il just run it all the time so i dont have that prob

This won't apply to you because you are using yours full time.

This a warning for anyone who isn't. Make sure your crankshaft pulley is done to the correct torque setting because I split one on my truck because it wasn't tight enough.
