pto point on hilux box

pto point on hilux box

Is any one aware of what the pto point on a hilux box was designed for is there a pto winch for a hilux or do the other toyota winches use the same gear set up ?hoping to fit pto any ideas ?I have not checked weather there is a gear in there yet if there is not any idea where to get one ? Cheers any wisdom appreciated

a guy on here ,jafa has looked in to this and I think he found a pto output but it was from italy and im not sure on the cost or wether it would suit a pto winch we were lookin in to it to run a hydraulic winch
swb lux with 7mge, trailgear crossover, trailgear rear lift kit, custom front bar, runva 1200lb winch, custom snorkel, 37" Mtrs, custom deck, lockright in the rear.

a motor and trans (or just trans) swap to a toyota split transfer case might be the less complicated way of getting a pto winch on your hilux? :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
