1985 beam axle surf

Post by ruf_zuki »

i have no space left to finish my truck,
i have mounted the falcon springs in the rear but the front mount on the chassis ended up wrong so needs to be moved 50mm forward.
its had 340mm cut out of it behind the rear wheel arch and had the front square canopy window removed and canopy shortened to suit.
ive cut the front gaurds along the flared part but have another set of front gaurds,
has a 2LT from a later surf in it.
before i took it off the road i had the cambelt and tensioner bearings replaced
ran great, has been sitting for ages but crank it over every now and again.
the front axle is sold and has a 4.55 lsd which has been rebuilt and the rear is a 4.55 welded.
the rear axle is the wide type from a ifs surf and have done a disk brake conversion on it with galant calipers and solid front surf rotors.
i have some ifs front hubs to go with it aswell.
the front beam had been fully rebuilt, new seals bearings etc etc.
the ifs sterring box is to go with it.
rear springs are up front and have dropped the hangers but need to get some better shackles made.
body is a bit beaten up but i wheeled it like a motherfawker before i pulled it off the road.
its got an advanced-adaptors dual case adaptor in and the crawl box has a badass twinstick setup on it built by me and a mate and a t-case xmember that sits up above the rails and bolts to the back housing on tcase
rear t-case has a pto output on it.
both driveshafts are there but havent been shortened yet.
also have some 15" stroke procomp shocks to go with it (x4)

there a bit of work to do on it but its a good project for someone.
owes me about 3 times what im asking for it.
i would love to finish it but i have other project which i have more motivation for.

i dont really have any recent pics of it but may be able to get some but if anyone wants to have a look its located in onehunga(auckland)
reg is on hold
no wof

asking $6000ono

bump
really needs to go,
$2000 tyres
$1500+ in the dual case twin stick setup
$500 in shocks
you do the math

easy to finish project
could also finish all fab work etc if someone takes care of the costs/labour
