Put dual batteries in a Cruiser, all you'd need is enough room

Re: Batteries
G'day
Dual batteries - I have just got started. Brought a battery tray and have mounted this on the left hand side of the engine. Got a battery ready to go but need to buy the isolator thingy - about $90 at super cheap so saving furiously.
I have just fitted (manifold slit in four places) a free flow exhaust so think I'll probably have to but a heat shield against the battery.
I found five built nuts on the wheel arch so was able to make use of these to secure the battery tray.
Where are you at with your's?
Cheers
Chris
