cars wanted for demo derby in chch

Hi guys

Im on the comittee of the uni motosoc club. We are running a demo derby on the opening night of woodford glen speed way in a few weeks and need to get some cars. Will pay up to $100 for cars. Anything considered if it moves. No vans or 4wds sadly. Anyone got anything?

Fark yeah, there worth a bit of money those cars now, I think I owned about 14 or 16 of them during my misguided youth

Shit I remember buying one of those old demo derby cars for 30 bucks and borrowing a couple of number plates and 6 of us took it up to Auckland for the weekend to see the zz top concert and drove it back again before pushing the windows out and putting it on the speedway track.... ahhh those were the days

Helen Clarke's priministerial car will be available in about 8 weeks ...maybe you can buy that ...its goes real fast too especially when on the way to the airport

We are still looking for cars and are a little down on numbers of people who have cars! If anyone in chch has a paddock racer they want to enter in the derby then give me a pm for details. entry is $55 and the event is on the 11th of october
