Some one could do up a sheet of questions as a 2 part thing: 1 what did you learn 2 what did you think

Some thing roughly like:

How do rated tow hooks work? (I'm anticipating a tow hook lecture )

What make of vehicle is there the most of today? (Suzuki, Nissan, Toyota etc)

What is a shiney?

But I realise planning something like this is more work for some one and I don't want to put more on you guys and really appreciate your assistance.

Oh also bent all the steering aswell but did,nt seem worth mentioning

Yeah pretty pissed off as just had new clutch, pressure plate ect. But on the plus side am looking to repower with 2 extra cylinders

i may organise a mini convoy down saturday arvo... me haynzy maybe wisard2? can swing past DBWs and have him tag along... also i spoke with suzuki1k and jerry about bringing down Ray with his winch comp truck ( ex sam baddley) he is keen to come along and will also bring his 80 series for a few extra seats if thats ok?

Reese & I discussed this trip back at my place on Sunday night after Costa, and I will now be going down Saturday arvo and staying at Rallywoods overnight with the crew.

Looking good - 'at this stage' that should be enough seats but if we can spread them out to just two in a back seat might be more comfy.

We are looking to leave Otaki (Forest Lakes Camp) at about 8:30-45 - how long will it take to get down to the entrance? (Reece is working on getting a map of where to meet). We will have to be back at our vehicles by about 5:00pm to get back to the camp and cleaned up and fed up and into Levin for our 'Community Evening' programme which starts at 7pm. If there are any undue holdups in there we might have to send a vehicle out earlier of a few people to get the evening pre-sorted but can face that at the time.

Sounds good! so if we all aim to have every one at Akas entrance at about 9:15am is that sounding reasonable? Also, is that meeting point a safe place to leave vehicles for the day?

Hi all,

Here is the schedule for the day:

Meet at Maungakotukutuku gate entrance 9:00am get sorted out for Group to turn up at 9:15am, drivers briefing and quick overview of 4x4ing for the kids - safety, what is what etc etc,
Head to Rallywoods via Akatarawa Forest,
Rallywoods for lunch and a play,
After lunch head back through Akatarawa Forest to slippery forest for a play,
After play head back to Maungakotukutuku gate entrance.

Aim to be back there by 4:30 - 4:45pm.

Fweddy, yes there is plenty of parking there and it is safe, take valuables with you though.

OTHER:

There is the normal cost of $15.00 per truck and a $5.00 visitor fee, this fee is payable if you are not an association affiliated member. Please note that there may be a bit of bush rub on the tracks that we are doing, we are aiming to keep it as shiny as possible but can't promise anything.

Looks like we have the seats, please remember if you have said that you are going to be on the trip PLEASE PLEASE make it, if you can't make it PLEASE let either Jerry or myself know ASAP! We will need to arrange seats as we don't want to have anyone miss out!

Anyone that is coming to Rallywoods needs to remember that there is a $5.00 night fee per-person and a $10.00 fee for playing in there on Saturday, your tickets that you have earned from working bee's can be used.

someone better bring lots of breathmints, so we don't have the youth smelling the evidence of a good night the night before (stolen from - BBQ / Beer Night - Welly Sat 4th Oct - thread)

If I believe that ANYONE is not up to driving on Sunday I will tell them that they are not driving END OF STORY rant over
