Needed S13 wiring diagram

hi All,
Anybody got a copy of the wiring diagrams for an 1991 S13 SR20DE motor and auto, that I can beg, borrow, buy, or steal. Nothing available in the SR20 forums or any of the other likely places. The closest that we can find so far is the Primira

Ya wouldn't belive it but boyracers and aussie ones at that being useful

Pretty sure its the top one in the list and the lower down s13 180sx is the ca18. (could be the the other way around.)

It is the full 900ish page factory workshop manual. Will have inividual wiring diagrams for the entire engine etc. Mondo handy manual to have. (I printed about 130pgs for my ca18 after downloading the manual and it has been a god send.)

Toy - Zuk chassis tub, hilux 4.88 axles and transfer, Nissan CA18DE motor and auto trans, sc12 supercharger, 32 10'5 simex, twin motor 8274 custom freespool. Well the parts are all there in various corners of the shed

i have fwd primera running sr20de if get stuck i can work out the pin outs on my ecu,its not a major

if you can post up a close up of the wireing going into ecu plug i can compare with the 3 diff looms for differant sr20de cars i have here,i was/am going to make up a 3 wire (earth,batt,ign) loom for sr20de conversion, i also have a friend who has s13 silvia auto i could borrow to check pins too,but nothing can really happens to maybe weekend

picking up friends s13 weds night to check out pins, if still need then i can draw up wiring diagram, shold be only about 3-6 wires to connect up that will make it run

Hi David,
Would appricate that if you could have to try and get back to the co-drivers to get photos he is working on it again. We have a lot more than 6 wires tho.

what i do when doing conversion i isolte the wires needed eg fuel,ign,batt,earths and maybe injector relay trigger and rest stays as factory

this i have found over the years most reliable way to convert
the longest time is finding wiring diagram thats correct and so far ive never found one, most of the time its trace wires work out what they do etc
my bros 3rz we had it running in about 1.5 hrs not including rewire alternator,getting parts shortning loom, figuring where things going to go etc,tidy up etc,that takes longest time

ignition switch is just to good old stripped wires touch/hold on battery fire up :D

Yep thats exactley what we are doing. engine and auto were out of car and the wiring loom had also been removed we have to marry it to the Jimny loom. We have it running but at this stage it wont idle. Auto computer is not yet wired in, so if you put it in 2nd it will select 1st then change up to t2nd but wont change down, if you put it in drive it takes off in drive but wont change down. and the eng9ine just will not rev. will rev no problems in neutral but not in gear
We are going to alter the auto so it will be using some switches and solinods and the speed sensor. it will be shifted manualy have already disonnected the inhibitor swtich so can be started in any gear

what color wires to at ecu?

i converted my auto primera to manaul so me lucky coz some times you have idle issue using auto ecu with manaul boz, all i did was unplug a/t ecu

found wiring diagram shows all 4 wires from a/t control unit goto engine ECU, 1 spliced in goes to nuetral switch

just going out to spare primera and have a look at that a/t ecu

do you have hold/power switch?
if need be i can get car tuesday evening, then lata that night you can call me

I got the 26.933 Mb one but it is for the 200SX 894pages but it is not the right one either. haven;t got the Shifter for the slyvia so will be adapting one from something else to suitto suit

Most nissan car ones are the same shift. I'm using one out of and RB20 powered cefiro and it works fine. The skyline ones are the same too.

from what i can find so far det and de are same

make sure you have power going to airflow meter,check tps

The gearbox is going into fault mode. A factory determined gear that lets you limp home when there is a fault. They are manualy shifted P, R, N, Foward. The forward gears are selected by the auto trans computer. You can by pass the computer and use the shift switch (on side of gear box and sends signal to computer) to trigger relays to switch the soliniods in he gear box to shift the forward gears.

The engine sounds like it is also going to to fault mode when you select a gear. Does it rev to about 2000rpm and no more? The inhibitor goes to starter circiut and there is also (should be) a circuit that sends a signal to the ECU to tell it a gear has been selected. (the CA series it is an earth signal) If these signals aren't right it will go to fault mode.

Hope that helps a bit. I cant give you which wires as it will be slightly different to the CA one I have. Gear boxes and general working is the same though.

Hey guys, many thanks for all you assistance. Have got engine to idle now had an unregulated air flow as we dont have an airbox, altered that and now that is sorted. Ready to sort the auto now have just go to get solinoids and zenner diodes to do what I want. All seems to be progressing again

you dont need an airbox on a sr20 just make sure no air leaks after air flow meter,im now just running a K&N ripe off,but i did use my car for a day when i was making brackets etc with no air box

Do you still need me to get silvia to track and trace?, was pissing down here 2night so me didnt want to work in the rain, to many shiters in garage :D

Hi Dave,

hold off on getting the other at this stage, thanks for the offer, precipatation rather heavy up here as well. Will be putting a snorkel back on but also need to fit a air cleaner as well
