Some great pics there, and looks to be near perfect condition lots of sticky MUD :D

Are the simex style tyres of any advantage in those conditions?I know on heavy vehicles they can make quite a differance but dont seam to as much on lighter vehicles IMO

Well have a couple ( of hundred  ) photos but here are a couple that I took

This was the result of trying to turn around on one of the hill climbs, he rolled twice on the way down and was stopped by a tree...

Image

This was a hazzard that most people failed, the driving on two wheels section. I don't think it was a scored hazzard thou

Image

This is prime example of why you should tie your strop down in the back of the wagon. Aparrently if you don't it can cause you to roll over because it is never the fault of the driver

Image

The funny part about this next shot is that he was on his wheels before they tried to recover him, this is the result of the recovery

Image

The the mighty Zuki, well done guys on the win

Image

Although i am not to sure how this next wagon managed to park itself here, but the driver showed a good sense of balance

Image

Of course it would not be complete with two of our local lads striking a pose.

First we have Mitch

Image

and of course MrO showing us yet again his amazing sense of style and how he is not afraid to try and be a trendsetter

Image

Had a fun day out there on Saturday, initialy I was keeping my head low and trying to avoid getting involved in marshalling but that idea fell apart when somebody gave my cellphone number out on Friday morning didnt they Curly

So it was onto cunning plan B on Saturday morning as it looked like there were going to be too many marshalls and Taz01 and I just happened to be standing well out at the back of the crowd as the tasks were allocated so it was looking like we were going to be left over as spare's....... untill Mitch's old man spotted us and dragged us up to hazzard 5 to marshal

Fark that was a demanding hazzard, we were stuck on a steep greasy grass slope that you needed crampons just to stand still and had the trucks dissapear down an off camber into a little creek/bog and try and come back around and up the greasy slope again, of the 76(?) trucks only 5 made it up out of the creek and through the blues (and only 3 of them zeroed it) which left aprox 71(?) trucks to be pulled back up out of the creek with the digger..... shit that took some time and they were all double pulls, we had a long strop to reach them down in the creek and had to swap over to a short chain towards the top of the slope as the digger ran out of reach, cheers for your help with the re-coupling of the strops there cloggy, it was getting a bit hard trying to multi-task till you turned up

There was a wee moment when the digger decided to lose traction and take a slide down the slope with us under it but that all got sorted

no don't think so, i normally don't really look at the score card, you can get to competitive and cause yourself grief, but you can still remember the hazard and exactly where it went wrong,
