Buying parts - ex US.

Post by coop »

Gday there, my XJs front axle wants to keep on going forward after a heavy stab on the brakes. Problem is the bushes in the control/trailing arms are buggered... retailing at around $700 from BNT for the lot. Shes a bit steep compared to parts for my Falcon.

I found that yank site where they are significantly cheaper, just wondering if any other ORE jeepers have had good experiences buying parts ex USA, and where from...

Cheers.

PS. maybe we should start up a topic of good places/sites to buy parts (original and modified) for our Jeeps.

ive had issues with quadratec... swear ill never use them again.

ive gotten stuff off summit racing too.... with no problem, just the freight prices are ASTRONOMICAL, and they never bothered telling me what the freight was going to cost before sending me the goods. I got control arm bushes from Greg hopkins in Whangarei for the TJ no prob, and a decent rate. 0210554549

[edit: and to be fair to rick and nick in christchurch.... try 4wd accessories also, good Jeep lads!)
