if theres going to end up being lots of vehicles wanting to do a hard trip, is it not wise to either limit numbers or split into two groups and do differant tracks? there are plenty of other good tracks in there. better than being stuck in one track for 10 hours...

what are you going to cap the vehicles at Reece, I think we had around 10 trucks in there when we did it at Wgtn Anniversary weekend

if we split the group up doing 2 seperate tracks then we need another Aka's trip leader and thats a pain in the a5s, we need an idea first on how many shiny trucks there will be (ie walkers/people wanting rides etc), and how many there will be wanting to go thru ..., like your idea Reece if theres 15-20 trucks wanting to go thru then we have 2 groups..... if its fine enough and the trucks are capable then maybe we can push them all thru at once in staggered groups.

That is why not in the same trip, don't under estimate the time it will take to get through... that happened last time and it all turned to custard....

just spoke with Haynzy he will a starter for this trip!!!! (as long as there is no swimming with the whales)

I'm gonna say I am not takin the Hilux on this loop

1, its gettin to be a big trip and will be enough problems gettin around as it is
2, I know the Lux has a few small dents but I don't want to stove in a whole door before I finish the sliders

But am still keen to come watch everyone else bash there way around

we might need to sort out another pre-trip Workshop day at Taz01's lockup to get all the trucks fixed up before the trip, Mike was saying something about having to pull the engine/trans out of his landy to do a trans swap or something like that, I'm not exactually sure what he needs to do coz I was distracted by the girl that was bringing all our beer over to the table while he was telling us .... thats assuming the Bluebridge will let his landy on to get over to the north Island
