Ok this is going to give it away.
40 50 60 70# cruisers have same CV's with fine spline, along with the beam axle lux's.
But the 70 series started to run a slightly larger CV in the leaf sprung version with a 1HZ engine SWB. I know cause I tried to jam an 80 series CV in and it was a little to big but the hilux CV is a little bit smaller. These CV's are incredibly expensive from Toyota. $800 i think.
Another anomily is the 79 series cruiser flat deck. Coil front and leaf rear. The steering knuckle top is only two bolt like an 80 series and the CV is either an 80 or smaller. Someone might be able to correct me on that. Its a great front axle to go into a hilux winch truck. Strong CV's and coil setup but narrower axle than the 80 series.
Hope some of that sparks some interest.
Cheers

Cruiser CV's. How many sizes
I think you should be able land some for that, I see Bobby now makes an 80 series Longfield.. now that would be tough.
Mine have been wicked, I've put the steering on full lock and forced one wheel into a 1.5m vert bank under huge load and it climbs without complaint... in the past I would peel off a std CV every time
Well worth the $$$, everybody should have em
PS when ya bring the toy down here for a session ?
Toms got us going into the mountains again on a rock mish this weekend
