Series 2A landrover for sale $2000

Post by oldyella »

Bought this a year ago and fixed it up, running a certified 186 holden, registration on hold, all the running gear is in pretty bloody good nick, does not leak oil anywhere, heres a short list of money spent on it

Breaks (new slaves all round, drums skimmed, shoes, break lines) $300
New immitation SAT's 750/16) $700
New timing gears in the engine plus a good service (plugs, dizzy etc) $100
New timing cover seals and gasket, sump gasket, rocker cover gasket, fuel pump gasket and pinion seals in diffs
Rear shocks (adjustable, 3 settings) $200
Toe hooks front and rear
Probably some things iv missed

Comes with welded and open diff, safari roof in v.good condition and a rollbar for when the roofs off
Selling as iv only taken it out 4 times the whole time iv owned it.

I finally got around to getting the front bar done. An a-frame bolts to this bar which is how I get it around.

Landrover is now on trademe with more photos check it out http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... ermanent=0

The carby on it is tiny, on long hauls it would use quite a bit (low gearing), but up on the hills it wouldn't be too bad. Like iv said I havent taken it out much, the most I have used it was at the mudplug, it was running from 10am till 3pm, used 20L, 40bux, not bad I thought.
